Week 1: June 11 to June 15 (10am-2pm)
Jr chefs will learn everything from knife skills, cooking with different temperatures, working with meats, poultry, and seafood from the classic French techniques, styles and recipes. During the week Jr chefs will learn the basic of French baking, the classic techniques of cook with eggs, and many other French delights.
Our week-long culinary courses are for teenagers passionate about cooking and interested in acquiring some serious skills in the kitchen. Each week, we explore a variety of flavors and cooking techniques. This class requires no prior experience. But by no means is this your typical make-pizza-and-ice-cream-sundaes kiddie "cooking" class! The course runs four hours each day for five consecutive days. Classes are only available as a five-day series, no single-day enrollments.
Enrollment is limited to 10 students. Includes lunch, aprons and all materials.
