Summer Culinary Course - Italian Cuisine

Week 2: June 18 to June 22 (10am-2pm)

Jr chefs will learn everything from knife skills, cooking with different temperatures, working with meats, poultry, and seafood from the classic Italian techniques, styles and recipes. During the week Jr chefs will learn the basic of Italian baking, the classic techniques of preparing pasta and gnocchi from scratch, and many other Italian delicacies. 

 

Our week-long culinary courses are for teenagers passionate about cooking and interested in acquiring some serious skills in the kitchen. Each week, we explore a variety of flavors and cooking techniques. This class requires no prior experience. But by no means is this your typical make-pizza-and-ice-cream-sundaes kiddie "cooking" class! The course runs four hours each day for five consecutive days. Classes are only available as a five-day series, no single-day enrollments.

Enrollment is limited to 10 students. Includes lunch, aprons and all materials.
