Week 3: July 23 to July 27 (10am-2pm)

Jr chefs will learn the delicate and technique driven world of baking and pastry. During this week Jr culinary students will learn bread baking, working with yeast, laminated doughs, cakes, puff pastry, pate au choux, and many other baking and pastry recipes.

 

Our week-long culinary courses are for teenagers passionate about cooking and interested in acquiring some serious skills in the kitchen. Each week, we explore a variety of flavors and cooking techniques. This class requires no prior experience. But by no means is this your typical make-pizza-and-ice-cream-sundaes kiddie "cooking" class! The course runs four hours each day for five consecutive days. Classes are only available as a five-day series, no single-day enrollments.

Enrollment is limited to 10 students. Includes lunch, aprons and all materials.
